Balustrade Properties LLC is a private real estate investment company concentrating on properties in the "Intown Atlanta" area. The company specializes in the renovation of historic properties that need to be brought back from the brink of death. Principals Carl Mattison and Rob Smith purchase the properties and work closely with a renovation company to bring the homes back to life and ready for sale.
Balustrade Properties has been renovating properties since 2001. Most of these properties have been located in the Historic District of Grant Park. This is the community where Carl and Rob also live. Being community members for the past 11 years, they try first to give back to the community where they live.
Yet, properties out of the Grant Park Historic District are not off the table.
Carl Mattison is a seasoned designer who works with private homeowners, investors and on his own personal properties (like these of Balustrade Properties) to create warm, inviting exterior and interior spaces while typically looking to bygone eras for inspiration. Existing home details and flourishes often give guidance as to what should be done when renovating a home. Carl has been featured in This Old House Magazine, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Renovation Style, and has been on the HGTV network show "Generation Renovation" as well as "Bodacious Kitchens" on The Fine Living Network. Most recently, Carl along with Rob and Balustrade Properties, was featured on houzz.com with a feature on one of their latest projects. LEARN MORE ABOUT CARL HERE.
